Pergola: Created in 1984, the Pergola was part of
State's landscape and sidewalk upgrade project. The rustic style of the brick and wooden structure creates
an area for students, visitors, and employees to pause and enjoy its shade and beauty. Traditionally, pergolas provide
space for climbing vines to grow, creating a ceiling of natural growth which provides a shaded area for a cool break on
a hot day.
